Amos Turney 
Amos was born on December 28th, 1798 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Amos' father was Daniel Turney and his mother was Susan Matheny. His paternal grandparents were Peter Turney and Eva May Schwartz; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Matheny and Judah. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Peter, John Thomas, Jesse, Matthew, Eve Mary, Sarah, Judith, Anna, Rebecca, Lydia and Catherine. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 78 on January 22nd, 1877 in , Bourbon, Kentucky.-
