Bird Booker Spier 
Bird Booker was born in 1775 in Halifax County, North Carolina. Bird Booker's father was William Spears and his mother was Dorothy Holmes. His paternal grandparents were James Spears and Elizabeth Coker; his maternal grandparents were John Holmes and Tamar Bird. He had a brother named William Exum. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 72 in 1847 in Montgomery, Alabama.-
