Palmer Shropshire 
Palmer was born about 1875 in Of, Bourbon, Kentucky. Palmer's father was Augustus Shropshire and his mother was Fanny Forrester. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Thomas Shropshire and Elizabeth Jane Smith; his maternal grandfather was R. H. Forrester. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Benjamin, Garrett, Ida, Pink and Fanny. He was the third youngest of the seven children.-
