Ida Shropshire 
Ida was born in 1867 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Ida's father was Augustus Shropshire and her mother was Fanny Forrester. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Thomas Shropshire and Elizabeth Jane Smith; her maternal grandfather was R. H. Forrester. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Benjamin, Palmer, Garrett, Pink and Fanny. She was the oldest of the seven children.-
