William Remey

William was born in 1712 in , Westmoreland, Virginia.  William's father was Jacob Remy and his mother was Ann Sanford.  His maternal grandparents were Robert Sanford and Ann. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, Sanford, Benjamin, Jacob, Joseph and Mary.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.
