John Remey

John was born on September 27th, 1700 in , Westmoreland, Virginia.  John's father was Jacob Remy and his mother was Ann Sanford.  His maternal grandparents were Robert Sanford and Ann. He had five brothers and a sister, named Sanford, Benjamin, Jacob, William, Joseph and Mary.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
