Dinah Mae was born on May 3rd, 1908 in , , Tennessee. Dinah Mae's father was William Harve Price and her mother was Martha Jane Manis. Her paternal grandparents were William James Price and Sarah Jane Forrester; her maternal grandparents were Malin A. Manis and Sarah Elizabeth Hilton. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Milum Jackson, Amos Anderson, Guy P., Elmer Basil, Jimmie Thomas, Albert Miller, Mary Parolee, Stella J., Lonley Effie, Sarah Elizabeth, Susan Viola and Vangie Pauline. She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 69 on January 1st, 1978.-
