Andrew Porter 
Andrew was born about 1735 in , Guilford, North Carolina. Andrew's father was Hugh Porter and his mother was Violet Mackey. He had five brothers and a sister, named Hugh, James, Henry, Lancelot, John and Mary. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
