Joel Murrell

Joel was born in 1852 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Joel's father was Pleasant Murrell and his mother was Susan Trent. He had four brothers and a sister, named James Orville, Harvey G., William, Sampson and Amanda.  He was the second youngest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Alice.
