George C. Monroe 
George C. was born in 1869 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. George C.'s father was Martin Valley Monroe and his mother was Sarah E. Wells. His paternal grandparents were Asa Monroe and Sarah. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert N., Reason and Nancy E.. He was the youngest of the four children.
