Eliza Ellen Monroe 
Eliza Ellen was born in 1848 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Eliza Ellen's father was Madison J. Monroe and her mother was Rebecca Davis. Her paternal grandparents were Asa Monroe and Sarah. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named James J., Robert H., William Harvey, Sarah Caroline, Mary Emaline, Pheriby Jane, Lydia, Martha Adeline, Mariah Tennessee and Rebecca Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the eleven children.
