Alfred J. Millard 
Alfred J. was born in December 1810 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Alfred J.'s father was Samuel Millard and his mother was Alice Morrell. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Millard and Rebecca Henton; his maternal grandparents were Jonathan Morrell and Catharine Odell. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Elkana A., Samuel Harrison, Jonathan, Hugh M., Martha M., Mary Ann, Annie, Eliza H., Luisa, Sarah Ann and Elizabeth Jane. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 83 in October 1894.-
