Jonathan McCarty

Jonathan was born on April 29th, 1756 in , , Of Virginia.  Jonathan's father was Darby McCarty and his mother was Hannah Richardson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named James, Isaac, Enoch, Benjamin, Mary, Lydia, Rachel, Sarah, Elizabeth and Hannah.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 70 on February 17th, 1827 in Greenburg, Decatur, Indiana.
