Benjamin McCarty

Benjamin was born on December 22nd, 1759 in , Frederick, Virginia.  Benjamin's father was Darby McCarty and his mother was Hannah Richardson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named James, Isaac, Enoch, Jonathan, Mary, Lydia, Rachel, Sarah, Elizabeth and Hannah.  He was the youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 77 on August 16th, 1837 in Brookville, Franklin, Indiana.
