William Riley Manis 
William Riley was born on October 11th, 1849 in , Jefferson, Missouri. William Riley's father was Elijah M. Manis and his mother was Mary Ann Murrell. His paternal grandparents were Elijah Manis and Agnes Anderson. He had a brother and seven sisters, named John Tiger, Elizabeth Ann, Nancy Jane, Amelia, Lucy, Margaret, Mary Martha and Caroline. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Daniel Jackson, Joseph and Mary Sarah. He died at the age of 86 in 1935 in Richwoods, Washington, Missouri.-
