Joseph Lowry

Joseph was born in 1818.  Joseph's father was John Paul Lowry and his mother was Temperence Rushing.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Lowry and Judith May; his maternal grandparents were John P. Rushing and Mary. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Alfred M., Robert, John, Thomas Jefferson, James, Leonidas, Rosannah, Mary M. and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 45 in 1863.
