John Lowry

John was born in 1809.  John's father was John Paul Lowry and his mother was Temperence Rushing.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Lowry and Judith May; his maternal grandparents were John P. Rushing and Mary. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Alfred M., Robert, Thomas Jefferson, James, Joseph, Leonidas, Rosannah, Mary M. and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 27 in 1836.
