John Looney 
John was born on October 2nd, 1779 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John's father was Michael Looney and his mother was Temperance Cross. His paternal grandparents were Absalom Looney and Margaret Or Peggy; his maternal grandfather was Brittain Cross. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Peter, William M., Absalom David, Benjamin, Michael, Robert, Coleman, Andrew, Margaret, Ann, Mary Ann and Rachel. He was the second oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 100 on August 8th, 1880 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.-
