Benjamin Looney 
Benjamin was born in 1792 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Benjamin's father was Michael Looney and his mother was Temperance Cross. His paternal grandparents were Absalom Looney and Margaret Or Peggy; his maternal grandfather was Brittain Cross. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named John, Peter, William M., Absalom David, Michael, Robert, Coleman, Andrew, Margaret, Ann, Mary Ann and Rachel. He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 76 on February 22nd, 1868.-
