Francis Leeper 
Francis was born on November 21st, 1835 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Francis' father was Gawin Leeper and his mother was Wilma Or Willie Ann Phipps. His paternal grandparents were Francis Leeper and Elizabeth Littlejohn; his maternal grandparents were William Phipps and Sarah Erwin. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Josiah, Jesse, Gawen, Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Hannibal, Sarah, Susan and Abenaida.-
