William Lawson 
William was born in 1833 in Rogersville, Hawkins, Tennessee. William's father was Preston Lawson and his mother was Malinda Willis. His paternal grandparents were William Lawson and Sarah Hinton; his maternal grandparents were John Willis and Willis. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Calvin, Calloway Hodge, Preston, Senter, John, Henry, Verne, Rowena, Winifred, Lucinda, Minerva Ann and Sarah. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 31 in 1864 in , , Mississippi.-
