Newton Lawson

Newton was born in 1827 in , Hawkins, TN.  Newton's father was Hennus Lawson and his mother was Jailey. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William, Martin, Joseph, Elizabeth, Mary, Jane, Martha and Mariah.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.
