Sarah Koontz 
Sarah was born about 1793 in , Monroe, West Virginia. Sarah's father was Henry Koontz and her mother was Elizabeth Bowyer. Her maternal grandparents were Adam Bowyer and Christine Louderback. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named George, William, Charles, Andrew, Samuel, John, Alexander, Susannah and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the ten children.-
