Nancy Kite 
Nancy was born in 1844 in Virginia. Nancy's father was David Kite and her mother was Marie Kauffman. Her paternal grandparents were Martin Kite and Catharine Kiser. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Alfred Melton, Francis David, John W., Alexander, Thomas Oscar, Harvey, Eliza Jane, Virginia Ann and Sarah. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Charles and Mary.-
