Patience Jones

Patience was born in 1847 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Patience's father was Pleasant Carter Jones and her mother was Poriade Serginer.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert Jones and Mary Gardiner. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named William, Landon C., Alexander, James Marion, Jesse, Mahaley, Jane, Martha Jane, Jerusha, Mary Or Polly, Sarah, Elizabeth and Rosannah Or Rosa.  She was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.  She died at the age of 50 on June 29th, 1897.
