Landon C. Jones

Landon C. was born on January 8th, 1848 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Landon C.'s father was Pleasant Carter Jones and his mother was Poriade Serginer.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Jones and Mary Gardiner. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named William, Alexander, James Marion, Jesse, Mahaley, Jane, Martha Jane, Patience, Jerusha, Mary Or Polly, Sarah, Elizabeth and Rosannah Or Rosa.  He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children.
