John Isenberg 
John was born on March 8th, 1817 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. John's father was Jacob Isenberg and his mother was Elizabeth Simmons. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Isenberg and Fae Elizabeth Fox; his maternal grandparents were Christian Simon Or Simmons and Catherine Amend Or Ammons. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph B., Simeon, Isenberg, Benjamin J., Jacob K., George A., Katherine, Elizabeth, Matilda and Martha. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 77 on August 28th, 1894.-
