Allen Isbell 
Allen was born on March 23rd, 1825 in Jackson County, Alabama. Allen's father was James Isbell and his mother was Elizabeth Birdwell. His paternal grandparents were William Isbell and Sarah Richardson; his maternal grandparents were John Birdwell and Mary Allen. He had six brothers and six sisters, named William, John, Benjamin, James, Zachary, Levi, Mary Ann, Susan, Sarah Manda, Margaret, Elizabeth and Lucinda. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.-
