William Henry Hicks 
William Henry was born in 1847 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. William Henry's father was Wesley Fletcher Hicks and his mother was Catherine Maggard. His paternal grandparents were James George Hicks and Mary Magdalene Kettering. He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named David Fleming, Samuel Patton, Thomas Hugh, John Wesley, Walter D., James Mitchell, Mack Lynn, Nancy Jane, Mary Angelina and Ella Ruth. He died at the age of 59 in 1906.-
