Annie Laurie Hicks 
Annie Laurie was born in 1902 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Annie Laurie's father was David Fleming Hicks and her mother was Mary Louise Holt. Her paternal grandparents were Wesley Fletcher Hicks and Caroline Green Fitch; her maternal grandparents were John W. Holt and Elizabeth Thomas. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Earnest, Thomas Jugarty, John William, Lucy Elizabeth, Hicks and Carrie Ellen. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 78 in 1980.-
