William Harkleroad 
William was born in 1796 in Of, Sullivan, TN. William's father was Henry Harkleroad and his mother was Elizabeth Emmert. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Jacob Isaac, Francis P., John, Hiram, Isaac, Emma and Lucy. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
