John Harkleroad 
John was born in 1792 in Of, Sullivan, TN. John's father was Henry Harkleroad and his mother was Elizabeth Emmert. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Jacob Isaac, Francis P., William, Hiram, Isaac, Emma and Lucy. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
