William Grigsby 
William was born in 1855 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. William's father was Andrew J. Grigsby and his mother was Hannah Walker. His paternal grandparents were William Grigsby and Cynthia; his maternal grandparents were John Walker and Keziah Louderback. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel Houston, Jackson, Henderson W., Leland, Annis, Olivia Or Livy, Nancy Caroline, Martha E., Catherine Or Elizabeth, Orlena, Melissa and Cynthia Jane. He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children.-
