William Gillenwaters

William was born in 1785 in , , Virginia.  William's father was Joel Gillenwaters and his mother was Sally Or Loretta Gibbons.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas Gillenwaters. He had six brothers named David, Thomas, Elijah C., Joseph, John C. and Joel G..  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 71 in 1856.
