Amanda Elsea 
Amanda was born in 1855 in Of Sullivan County, TN. Amanda's father was James Ellison Elsea and her mother was Ann Strickler. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Elsea and Ina Coxe; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Strickler and Sarah Ann Frazier. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Isaac, Sarah and Mary Caroline. She was the youngest of the five children. She had three half-sisters named Alice, Josephine and Hannah.-
