Thomas Dykes 
Thomas was born in 1835 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Thomas' father was John Netherland Dykes and his mother was Juda Morelock. His paternal grandparents were John Netherland Dykes and Susannah Robertson. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Samuel, John Robertson, Isham, Riley D., Elizabeth, Mary, Susannah, Mahala, Anna, Clementine Lutary and Judah. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 80 in December 1915 in Lebanon, Smith, Kansas.-
