James Davis

James was born in 1785 in , Of Hawkins, Tennessee.  James' father was Hezekiah Davis and his mother was Amelia Or Milly Johnson. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Lewis, William, Asa, Hezekiah, Nelson, George Washington, Thomas, Susanna, Frances, Amelia Or Milly and Martha Or Patsy.  He was the second oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 75 in 1860 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.
