Jesse Current 
Jesse was born in 1840 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Jesse's father was Jesse Current and his mother was Inghaber Masoner. His paternal grandparents were John Current and Elizabeth Amos. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Newton, Lucretia, Sarah, Nancy Jane and Caroline. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
