Taylor Cope 
Taylor was born in 1840 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Taylor's father was James Cope and his mother was Dorcas. His paternal grandparents were William Cope and Nancy. He had a brother and five sisters, named Andrew, Nancy, Eliza, Elizabeth, Lucinda and Annis. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
