Matilda Jane Church 
Matilda Jane was born on May 11th, 1827 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Matilda Jane's father was Henry C. Church and her mother was Mary Olive Surginer. Her paternal grandparents were John Christian Church and Eleanor. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, William, George W., Enoch, Henry C., Malvina, Emaline, Almira, Elizabeth Ann, Patience and Agnes Sarah. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 48 on September 15th, 1875 in Barry County, Missouri.-
