Almira Church 
Almira was born in 1822 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Almira's father was Henry C. Church and her mother was Mary Olive Surginer. Her paternal grandparents were John Christian Church and Eleanor. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, William, George W., Enoch, Henry C., Malvina, Emaline, Elizabeth Ann, Patience, Matilda Jane and Agnes Sarah. She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 65 on November 24th, 1887 in Scott County, VA.-
