Lewis Christian 
Lewis was born in 1810 in Hawkins, Tennessee. Lewis' father was John Christian and his mother was Nancy Skelton. His paternal grandparents were Lewis Christian and Margaret Felkner; his maternal grandfather was William Skelton. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William Lewis, Thomas Jefferson, John, Seth, Allen D., James, George, Margaret, Ruth and Nancy. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 33 in 1843 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.-
