Samuel Chestnut

Samuel was born in 1844 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  Samuel's father was Henry Chestnut and his mother was Louisa. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Hugh and Bitha Jane.  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James, David, Mary and Parlee.
