Martha Chestnut 
Martha was born in 1841 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Martha's father was Thomas Chestnut and her mother was Ann Reynolds. Her maternal grandparents were William Reynolds and Hannah Barton. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Napoleon, William, Robert, Mary, Sarah and Malinda. She was the second oldest of the seven children.-
