Hiram Charles 
Hiram was born in 1780 in , Henry, Virginia. Hiram's father was James J. Charles and his mother was Tabitha Senter. His paternal grandparents were James Charles and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Senter and Susannah Tandy. He had six brothers and five sisters, named James, Oliver, Stephen K., John, Joel, Solomon, Cynthia, Susannah, Nancy, Elizabeth and Tabitha. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 59 in 1839 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.-
