Pessa Cato 
Pessa was born in 1855 in Tennessee. Pessa's father was John Cato and her mother was Parthenia Jane. Her paternal grandparents were Roland Cato and Nancy Vincent. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Tennessee, John J., William, Amanda Jane, Martha, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Nancy. She was the second youngest of the nine children.-
