John F. Brotherton 
John F. was born on October 27th, 1794 in Iredell Co., NC. John F.'s father was William Brotherton and his mother was Esther Bone. His paternal grandfather was John Brotherton; his maternal grandfather was William Bone III. He had four brothers and a sister, named Benjamin, James, George, Henry and Esther. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 34 on October 27th, 1828 in Greene Co., TN.-
