George Brotherton 
George was born about 1807 in Greene County, Tennessee. George's father was William Brotherton and his mother was Esther Bone. His paternal grandfather was John Brotherton; his maternal grandfather was William Bone III. He had four brothers and a sister, named Benjamin, John F., James, Henry and Esther. He was the second youngest of the six children.-
