Hiram Brooks 
Hiram was born in 1827 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Hiram's father was John Brooks and his mother was Anna. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Brooks and Sarah Boone. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, George, Wilson, Rebecca and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the six children.
