Adam Bowyer 
Adam was born about 1767 in , Monroe, West Virginia. Adam's father was Adam Bowyer and his mother was Christine Louderback. His maternal grandparents were Johan David Lauterbach and Maria Elizabetha Klein. He had five brothers and six sisters, named David, Jacob, Reuben, Isaac, William, Elizabeth, Barbara, Susannah, Mary Margaret, Sally and Mary Magdeline. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died in 1827 in , , West Virginia.-
